The Glen Ellyn History Center  800 N. Main St. Glen Ellyn, IL 60137

The Glen Ellyn Historical Society provides Educational Outreach programs at all DuPage County School Districts. Special tours of Stacy’s Tavern Museum, classroom programs, exhibits, first-person portrayals and other programs provide students and participants of all ages a connection to the past and early Glen Ellyn.

Then and Now programs brought into the classroom by costumed volunteer facilitators truly make history come alive for students. Many students return to Stacy’s Tavern Museum with parents in tow to share the experience of visiting this unique landmark.

Stacy’s Tavern Museum is also a destination of the Passport to Adventure programs for museums and nature centers in Kane and DuPage counties. Kids ages 4–12 may pick up a passport at any participating location and visit interesting sites throughout the summer. Visit the
Kane-DuPage Regional Museum Association website for more information.
